Shea Butters, Bath Salts, Soap, and Shower Gels by Epicurean Soap Company
Cleanse and moisturize with these gentle soaps/gels and shea butter! Shea butter is derived from
the African Karite nut (seed) which has been used for thousands of years. Shea butter gives natural UV protection, is high
in vitamins A & E, soothes irritated and chapped skin, and moisturizes. It is THE ingredient in the butters and a key ingredient
in all of the soaps. Squeeze the shower gel on washcloth or a sponge, the olive, hemp, and coconut oils deep clean and moisturize
while the essential oils give you your first fragrance layer. Distilled water is the only other ingredient. If you have
more time, pour 1/2 cup to 1 cup of bath salts (Namibian sea salt and Epsom salts) in running bathwater and have the most
luxurious soak of your life! The soaps are handmade locally from coconut oil, olive oil, vegetable glycerin, shea butter,
distilled water, and scented with ONLY PURE ESSENTIAL OILS; size and color can vary slightly from batch to batch. Soaps are
wonderful to use on your face; some have exfoliating ingredients.
Shea butter is even better for your skin than cocoa butter, a little goes a long way! Just rub some
in your palms and feel it absorb your body heat and melt! Freshness is of particular concern in the shea butters, which
gradually lose their healing properties 12-15 months after harvesting. After that, the butter is simply an excellent moisturizer.

The following scents come in soap ONLY:
Ebony Tar (burnt kiln pine tar). This soap is great for extreme cases of eczema and psoriasis, but
you should be very careful when trying this product as you may be allergic.
Fresh (tea tree, lime with ground oatmeal and basil) This soap is a great fungicidal, and many reports
of success from those with psoriasis. This soap is great for all skin types.
Ocean (geranium, lavender, basil, and patchouli with seaweed) This soap calming to anxiety, a great
deodorant soap and cleansing to congested skin.
Woodsy (cedar, pine, palma rosa with ground rosehip, oatmeal and turmeric). This soap is comforting
to dry skin and is great with eczema conditions. Men enjoy shaving with this soap (no chemicals no razor rash).
